Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, wines, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Design and update beverage menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative drink concepts to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain bar inventory, including stocking supplies, tracking usage, and placing orders to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless coordination between food and beverage service.
- Uphold hygiene and safety standards, including proper handling of glassware, equipment, and cleaning protocols.
- Train and mentor junior bar staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and manage cash handling, POS systems, and end-of-shift reconciliations with accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender or bar crew member in a high-volume hospitality setting (e.g., bars, hotels, resorts, or nightclubs).
- Proven expertise in mixology, including knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, techniques, and garnishes.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Familiarity with bar inventory management, including stock control, ordering, and waste reduction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Russian) are a plus.
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, RSA) is highly desirable.
