Responsibility
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment and following chef instructions accurately.
- Ensure timely preparation and plating of dishes to meet service demands during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the kitchen supervisor.
- Adhere to portion control and waste reduction practices to optimize cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless kitchen operations and high-quality output.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to uphold workplace standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role (preferred but not required).
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
