Responsibility
- Assist chefs with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Support in receiving, storing, and organizing food deliveries and supplies.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency in dish preparation.
- Assist in plating and presenting dishes according to established standards.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
- Help with basic cooking tasks under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
- Contribute to inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 20 kg).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
