Responsibility
- Assist chefs with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Support in plating and garnishing dishes to meet presentation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., mixers, slicers, ovens).
- Restock ingredients and supplies, and assist with inventory management.
- Follow recipes and portion controls to minimize waste and ensure consistency.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for quality and freshness.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Helper, Cook Assistant, or similar role (fresh graduates with culinary training are welcome).
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (HACCP is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift up to 20 kg.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with Indonesian or international cuisine is advantageous.
- Good communication skills in English (basic Bahasa Indonesia is a plus).
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
