Responsibility
- Assist the head chef and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards.
- Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment, stirring, seasoning, and plating dishes as directed.
- Ensure timely restocking of kitchen supplies, ingredients, and utensils to support smooth operations.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain consistency in dish quality and presentation.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, checking for freshness and proper labeling.
- Collaborate with the team to set up and break down kitchen stations before and after service.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to uphold PISON Group’s high standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen or culinary environment (entry-level candidates with passion are welcome).
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, kitchen tools, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 20 kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with Indonesian cuisine or willingness to learn is a plus.
- No formal education required, but culinary training or certifications are advantageous.
