Responsibility
- Assist head chefs and kitchen staff in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and marinating.
- Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment, stirring, seasoning, and plating dishes under supervision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety standards.
- Help with inventory management, including stocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low inventory.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations before and after service hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to uphold restaurant standards.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required—training provided for motivated individuals with a passion for cooking.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-player attitude.
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 15 kg).
- Willingness to learn Korean culinary techniques and adapt to new methods.
- Excellent personal hygiene and commitment to food safety practices.
- Fluency in basic English or Indonesian; knowledge of Korean is a bonus but not required.
