Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring.
- Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment and following recipes accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Help with plating and garnishing dishes to ensure consistent presentation and quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the kitchen supervisor of low stock or supply needs.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring all items are properly labeled and rotated.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to comply with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is a plus, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 20 kg).
