Responsibility
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities that align with early childhood development best practices.
- Provide attentive care and supervision to ensure the safety, well-being, and emotional development of children aged 3–6.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social interaction, creativity, and independence.
- Collaborate with lead teachers to monitor and document each child’s progress, sharing insights with parents during regular check-ins.
- Organize and facilitate play-based learning sessions, including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly learning space in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the integration of cultural diversity and local Balinese traditions into the curriculum to enrich the learning experience.
- Participate in professional development workshops and team meetings to continuously enhance your skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience working with young children in a kindergarten, daycare, or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the growth and happiness of young learners.
- Basic knowledge of child safety protocols, first aid, and emergency procedures (certification is a plus).
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team and adapt to the dynamic needs of a classroom.
- Creative, energetic, and resourceful with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
