Responsibility

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue growth within assigned accounts.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute account-specific strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to proactively address challenges and opportunities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and service agreements to secure favorable terms for both parties.
  • Performance Reporting: Track and report on key account metrics, including sales targets, client feedback, and market penetration.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and logistics teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients.
  • Client Advocacy: Serve as the voice of the client within Rockwool, advocating for their needs and ensuring alignment with our product and service offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or B2B sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with building materials, insulation solutions, or sustainable products is a strong advantage.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing client portfolios.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay or other Southeast Asian languages is a plus.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze complex business needs and develop data-driven strategies to address them.
  • Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Travel Willingness: Ability to travel occasionally to meet clients in Malaysia and other regional markets.
