In this pivotal role, you will be the primary architect of our sales strategy within local key channels, driving growth and ensuring the seamless execution of brand marketing initiatives.
As an Executive or Senior Executive, you will manage end-to-end sales lifecycles, cultivate long-term partnerships with major retail and channel stakeholders, and translate complex market data into actionable sales strategies. You will work at the intersection of business development and marketing, ensuring that Sony’s cutting-edge products maintain their market-leading position. We are looking for an individual with a passion for consumer electronics, an analytical mindset, and the ability to influence key decision-makers in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Manage end-to-end key account relationships, ensuring optimal product placement and stock health.
- Coordinate and implement channel marketing activities to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and gaps in the market.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, marketing, and finance departments to ensure operational excellence.
- Prepare and present high-level sales performance reports and forecasts to internal stakeholders.
- Drive store-level execution through regular store visits and staff training sessions on product USPs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Key Account Management or Channel Sales, preferably within the consumer electronics or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of the Singapore retail landscape and distribution channels.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas and business KPIs.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
