Responsibility
- Assist in the receiving, unloading, and verifying of incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely and error-free fulfillment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and scanners safely and efficiently.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas, ensuring products are stored in designated locations for easy retrieval.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks, adhering to safety protocols and weight limits.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory role is advantageous but not required.
- Physical ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 kg (55 lbs) regularly.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems or willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and best practices.
