Responsibility
- Ensure compliance with all local, regional, and national tax regulations, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings to meet deadlines and accuracy standards.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile tax-related data and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in tax audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support to external auditors.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate their impact to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain tax compliance processes and documentation to improve efficiency and reduce risks.
- Support the implementation of tax software and digital tools to streamline compliance workflows.
- Provide guidance to internal teams on tax-related matters, including payroll, intercompany transactions, and indirect taxes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or a related role (internships considered).
- Strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with tax software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local tax tools).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in taxation (e.g., Brevet A/B) or pursuing certification is a plus.
