Responsibility
- Assist the Sous Chef in managing the production kitchen and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's standards and recipes.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to the restaurant's cleanliness standards.
- Assist in cost control measures to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurant.
- Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
