Responsibility
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety in compliance with local regulations.
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to uphold culinary excellence.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely restocking.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any kitchen-related issues promptly.
- Participate in regular kitchen audits and quality checks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
