Responsibility
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct site measurements and quantity take-offs to ensure accurate material and labor costing.
- Support contract administration, including reviewing subcontractor quotations and negotiating terms.
- Monitor project expenditures and track budget variations to ensure financial control.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to optimize resource allocation.
- Prepare progress claims and final accounts in accordance with contract terms.
- Maintain detailed records of project costs, variations, and financial reports.
- Assist in risk assessment and value engineering to enhance project profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management (internships count).
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., CostX, Candy) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and tendering processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali as required.
