Responsibility
- Assist in sourcing and procuring raw materials, packaging, and other supplies for food production.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely restocking.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships to support operational efficiency.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance and logistics teams to track expenditures and optimize procurement budgets.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic ERP or procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of food industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
