Responsibility
- Assist in the daily operation and monitoring of the Alfa Laval Wet Extraction Plant to ensure optimal performance and output.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and report potential issues or malfunctions.
- Follow standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
- Collaborate with senior operators and maintenance teams to perform minor repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor production metrics, including flow rates, temperatures, and pressure levels, and document findings accurately.
- Assist in the setup, calibration, and cleaning of plant equipment to prepare for production cycles.
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations to minimize risks and ensure workplace safety.
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications
- A Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, plant operations, or industrial environment (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Basic understanding of wet extraction processes, centrifugal separation, or similar industrial equipment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve standing, lifting, or operating machinery for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in shift-based schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry for reporting purposes.
