Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Assess and diagnose common eye conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, glasses, and contact lenses tailored to patient needs.
- Provide personalized eye care advice and educate patients on maintaining optimal eye health.
- Collaborate with senior optometrists and ophthalmologists to manage complex cases and referrals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
- Assist in retinal imaging, tonometry, and other diagnostic procedures as required.
- Stay updated with the latest optometric techniques, technologies, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Entry-level candidates welcome – Pre-registration or OOB-registered optometrists encouraged to apply.
- Degree in Optometry or related field from a recognized institution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
- Basic knowledge of eye anatomy, vision science, and common eye disorders.
- Ability to interpret diagnostic results and provide accurate recommendations.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision in patient care.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Proficiency in English (additional local language skills are a plus).
