Responsibility
- Assist in the design, configuration, and deployment of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement network security measures and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct regular network audits and document network configurations, changes, and incident reports.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of network cabling and hardware.
- Participate in on-call rotations to address urgent network issues outside of regular business hours.
- Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and best practices to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.) and network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
