Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain firmware for embedded systems and IoT devices.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Debug and troubleshoot firmware issues, ensuring smooth functionality across devices.
- Implement and test firmware updates, patches, and new features.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and software components.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in embedded systems.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers, sensors, and communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
- Experience with debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with IoT platforms and cloud integration is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
