Responsibility
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of hardware prototypes, including schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, or Eagle).
- Collaborate with firmware engineers to integrate and debug embedded systems, ensuring seamless hardware-software interaction.
- Conduct hardware validation and performance testing, troubleshooting issues to optimize functionality and reliability.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications for new product development.
- Document design processes, test results, and revisions to maintain clear and accurate engineering records.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions for hardware challenges.
- Support senior engineers in manufacturing and production phases, including component sourcing and vendor coordination.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in hardware design, firmware development, or embedded systems (internships or academic projects count).
- Proficiency in schematic design and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, or Eagle).
- Basic understanding of embedded C/C++ for firmware development and debugging.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex, AVR, PIC) and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for troubleshooting hardware issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
