Responsibility
- Assist in the management and enhancement of Xiaomiâs international security systems to protect against cyber threats.
- Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and maintain secure API frameworks.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Support the implementation of security tools and technologies to strengthen Xiaomiâs defense mechanisms.
- Participate in security audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends to proactively address potential risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or a related role (internships or academic projects may be considered).
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Basic knowledge of API security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, or endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP (or working towards them) are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
