Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Automate security checks and compliance scans within the deployment pipeline to ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring security and scalability.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform or similar tools.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Document processes, policies, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps Engineer, with a strong focus on security.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
- Familiarity with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
