Responsibility
- Manage supplier sourcing and procurement activities for dry bulk commodities in Southeast Asia.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, pricing, and supply chain opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate logistics to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Prepare reports on market conditions, procurement activities, and cost savings.
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to support business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, contracts, and supplier performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in procurement, trading, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Knowledge of dry bulk commodities and market dynamics is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional Southeast Asian languages are advantageous.
