Responsibility
- Assist in the execution of commissioning activities for data center projects, including testing, verification, and documentation of MEP systems (electrical, mechanical, and plumbing).
- Support the development and implementation of commissioning plans (Cx.L1 to L3) in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including contractors, vendors, and engineers, to ensure seamless system integration and performance.
- Conduct functional performance tests (FPTs) and integrated system tests (ISTs) to validate system operability and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning reports, test logs, and as-built documentation for client handover.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the commissioning phase, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to project timelines.
- Participate in site inspections, walkthroughs, and client meetings to address commissioning-related concerns and provide technical support.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements for data center commissioning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 0-2 years of experience in commissioning, testing, or MEP systems, preferably in data center or critical infrastructure projects.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, HVAC, fire protection, and IT infrastructure is a plus.
- Familiarity with commissioning tools, test equipment, and software (e.g., BMS, SCADA, or data center monitoring systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to project sites in Bali and other locations as required.
- Certifications such as CxA (Certified Commissioning Authority), LEED, or PMP are advantageous but not mandatory.
