Responsibility
- Assist in sourcing and procuring materials, goods, and services in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate their reliability and competitiveness.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies with vendors.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to ensure timely payments and smooth supply chain operations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance for reporting and auditing purposes.
- Support senior buyers in strategic procurement initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles (internships included).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic ERP systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
