Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, pour-over, and specialty drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and brewers, ensuring optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patrons to create a welcoming and memorable café experience.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking coffee bean stock, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following hygiene and safety protocols at all times.
- Learn and apply latte art techniques to enhance beverage presentation.
- Collaborate with the team to develop seasonal drink specials and promotional offerings.
- Participate in ongoing training to expand knowledge of coffee origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods.
Qualifications
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn the craft of barista work.
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of coffee preparation methods is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg.
