Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to Signature Market’s standards.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized customer service to enhance the café experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and customer areas.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and tracking usage of coffee beans, syrups, and other ingredients.
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and process payments accurately.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to uphold health and safety standards.
- Stay updated on menu offerings, promotions, and seasonal specials to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a café, barista, or customer service role (fresh graduates with a passion for coffee are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso machines and brewing methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory tracking.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and teamwork-oriented mindset.
