Responsibility
- Lead, train, and mentor the housekeeping team to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service standards across all properties.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies, procedures, and SOPs to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory management for housekeeping supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring cost-effective procurement and minimal waste.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Maintenance, F&B) to ensure seamless guest experiences and operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold brand standards and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Monitor and control housekeeping budgets, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment, to optimize financial performance.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback related to housekeeping with professionalism, ensuring swift resolution and follow-up.
- Stay updated on industry trends, sustainable practices, and innovative technologies to enhance housekeeping operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role within a luxury hotel or resort.
- Proven track record of leading teams to achieve operational excellence and guest satisfaction in high-volume environments.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping best practices, including cleaning techniques, linen management, and inventory control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and senior management.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with property management systems (PMS) or housekeeping software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of a 24/7 hospitality operation.
- Certification in hospitality management (e.g., CHA, CHHE) or related fields is highly desirable.
