Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and customer preferences.
- Assist in front-of-house operations, including greeting customers, taking orders, and processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including equipment, countertops, and customer areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours and special events.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and report shortages to management.
- Educate customers on menu offerings, including seasonal specials, brewing methods, and pairing suggestions.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role is a plus (training provided for the right candidate).
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about brewing techniques, equipment, and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse clientele.
