Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to KNOTS standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment with precision.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies and tracking ingredient levels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours.
- Upsell bakery items, seasonal specials, and promotional offers to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Participate in training sessions to improve barista skills, including latte art and brewing techniques.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a barista or in a similar café/hospitality role (fresh graduates with passion are welcome).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, milk steaming, and espresso extraction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Creative flair for latte art and presentation is a plus.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are advantageous.
