As a Junior Barista at Fusia Group, you’ll play a key role in shaping our guests’ experiences—from the first sip of a perfectly brewed espresso to the final impression of a clean, welcoming café. Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks, while adhering to Fusia Group’s standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and workspace to ensure a hygienic and efficient environment.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment, performing basic troubleshooting as needed.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable café experience.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies, tracking usage, and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold café operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
- Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and menu offerings to provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting colleagues and participating in training and development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and barista techniques (training will be provided for motivated candidates).
- Strong passion for coffee and willingness to learn and grow in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Customer-focused mindset with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
- Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or customer service role is advantageous but not mandatory.
