Responsibility
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating area, and storage spaces.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking supplies, tracking usage, and reporting low inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations and a positive work environment.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance coffee knowledge, brewing techniques, and customer service skills.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; training will be provided. A passion for coffee and hospitality is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing orders accurately.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques, recipes, and café procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., coffee bags, equipment).
