Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and propose actionable solutions to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Finance Lead to review and improve internal controls, ensuring adherence to company policies and audit requirements.
- Process and reconcile general ledger accounts, including intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and accruals.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with tax obligations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or audit (fresh graduates with strong academic records are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations (Indonesian tax knowledge is advantageous).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to process improvement and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for efficiency gains.
