Responsibility
- Supervise and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Oversee tax planning, preparation, and filing to optimize tax efficiency and ensure timely submissions.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and audit preparations.
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and improve financial processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and accounting standards, updating policies and procedures as needed.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to resolve inquiries and ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or taxation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and international financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a bonus.
