Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting guests and taking orders with professionalism
- Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating traditional Japanese dishes under chef guidance
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
- Handle cashier duties and process payments accurately (for service staff)
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant service, kitchen operations, or hospitality is a plus (training provided for motivated candidates)
- Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine or willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
