Responsibility
- Greet and seat guests with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Take and process food and beverage orders accurately, using POS systems and maintaining clear communication with the kitchen and bar teams.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including sushi, sashimi, ramen, and traditional Japanese dishes, while accommodating special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Ensure tables are set, cleared, and reset efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of service during peak hours.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or feedback with tact and urgency, escalating issues to management when necessary to ensure resolution.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to coordinate order timing, ensuring dishes and drinks are served promptly and at the correct temperature.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, restrooms, and service stations to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
- Participate in pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and team briefings to stay updated on menu changes, promotions, and service protocols.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant, cafĂŠ, or hotel setting.
- Basic knowledge of Japanese cuisine and dining etiquette is a plus, but not requiredâtraining will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Japanese or Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude under pressure.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the restaurantâs schedule.
