Responsibility
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service, high standards of food quality, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff to deliver outstanding performance.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage supplier relationships, and control costs to maintain budgetary targets.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism, ensuring resolution and guest retention.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain authenticity in Japanese cuisine and introduce innovative menu items.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as local labor laws.
- Analyze sales data, customer trends, and market conditions to drive strategic business decisions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a Japanese or fine-dining establishment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong understanding of Japanese cuisine, culture, and service etiquette.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional Japanese or Indonesian language skills are a plus).
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach to service.
