Responsibility

  • Develop, deliver, and facilitate Japanese language proficiency training programs for new hires and tenured employees.
  • Conduct regular language audits and quality assessments to ensure call/chat standards are met.
  • Create and update training curriculum, manuals, and instructional materials tailored to BPO operational needs.
  • Mentor and coach agents on Japanese business etiquette, tone, and cultural nuances in customer support.
  • Collaborate with operations managers to identify performance gaps and implement targeted language development interventions.
  • Monitor and track trainee progress through evaluations, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistency in language quality standards across various accounts.

Qualifications

  • Must be fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1 or N2 level certification is highly preferred).
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
  • Proven experience in training, coaching, or teaching, preferably within a BPO or international shared services environment.
  • Strong understanding of BPO metrics, quality assurance processes, and instructional design principles.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
  • High level of adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and performance reports.
  • Must be willing to work in Ortigas, Metro Manila (on-site).
