Are you a fluent Japanese speaker (N2 or above) with a passion for bridging cultural and linguistic gaps? RCX Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and energetic Japanese-English Interpreter to join our team in Bali, Indonesia.
In this role, you will facilitate seamless communication between Japanese and English-speaking clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy in business, administrative, and customer service interactions. Your linguistic expertise and cheerful demeanor will be key to fostering strong relationships and driving operational success.
This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary of ₱50,000 – ₱70,000 per month, along with the chance to work in one of the world’s most vibrant and culturally rich locations.
Responsibility
- Provide accurate and professional interpretation between Japanese and English in meetings, conferences, and daily operations.
- Translate written documents, emails, and reports while maintaining cultural and contextual accuracy.
- Assist in client negotiations, presentations, and business discussions to ensure clear communication.
- Support administrative tasks, including document preparation, data entry, and correspondence in both languages.
- Act as a cultural liaison, helping bridge understanding between Japanese and international stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interpretations and translations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve cross-cultural communication processes.
- Stay updated on industry terminology and linguistic trends in both Japanese and English.
Qualifications
- Japanese Language Proficiency (N2 or above) – JLPT certification preferred.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) with excellent communication skills.
- Cheerful, energetic, and professional demeanor with a customer-focused approach.
- Previous experience in interpretation, translation, or administrative support is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with business terminology in Japanese and English is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate or work in Bali, Indonesia (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, etc.).
