Responsibility
- Develop and execute IT vendor management strategies, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and risk assessments.
- Oversee software license compliance, audits, and optimization to reduce costs and eliminate redundancies.
- Manage the procurement, deployment, and retirement of hardware assets, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Implement asset lifecycle processes, from acquisition to disposal, with a focus on sustainability and ROI.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure contractual terms meet organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitor vendor SLA performance and resolve escalations to maintain service quality.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective vendors and emerging technologies.
- Generate reports and dashboards for stakeholders on IT spend, asset utilization, and vendor performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related fields; MBA or certifications (e.g., ITIL, CSAM) a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT vendor management, procurement, or asset lifecycle management.
- Proven track record in contract negotiation and stakeholder management with global vendors.
- Strong knowledge of software licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle) and hardware asset tracking tools.
- Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (ITIL, ISO 27001, COBIT) and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and financial acumen to assess TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and asset management software (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera).
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English; ability to work in a multicultural team.
