Responsibility
- Provide first-level technical support to customers via phone, email, chat, or remote sessions, ensuring timely and accurate issue resolution.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems, escalating complex cases to senior support teams when necessary.
- Document all customer interactions, solutions provided, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system for tracking and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with IT, development, and product teams to identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
- Educate customers on product features, best practices, and troubleshooting steps to empower self-service and reduce future inquiries.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and industry trends to deliver informed and proactive support.
- Monitor and analyze support metrics (e.g., response time, resolution rate) to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance technical skills and share insights with colleagues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in technical support, helpdesk, or customer service within the IT industry.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), networking principles, and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, Freshdesk) and remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk).
- Problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote or hybrid environment.
- Certifications in IT support (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are a plus.
