In this role, you will ensure the seamless operation of IT systems critical to autonomous port operations, including hardware maintenance, network troubleshooting, and system diagnostics. The position offers a contract-based engagement with a competitive salary range of $3,500–$4,000 USD per month, reflecting the specialized nature of the work. While the role primarily follows a day shift (9 hours, Monday to Friday), flexibility for night shifts may be required to support 24/7 operations.

Responsibility
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software systems for autonomous port operations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity, servers, and automated systems to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform routine system diagnostics and preventive maintenance to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and integrate new technologies in port infrastructure.
- Provide technical support for end-users, including port staff and autonomous system operators.
- Document IT processes, incidents, and resolutions for compliance and knowledge sharing.
- Assist in the implementation of cybersecurity protocols to safeguard port data and systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical system support during night shifts or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network management.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting, OS installation, and network configurations.
- Familiarity with autonomous systems, IoT devices, or industrial control systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts, as operational needs arise.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or CCNA are advantageous.
