Responsibility
- Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance optimization.
- Manage and secure network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPN configurations.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud-based solutions for scalable resource allocation.
- Develop and test backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and minimal downtime.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to improve efficiency.
- Provide Level 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports for compliance and auditing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in system administration, network management, or IT infrastructure support.
- Proven expertise with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and active directory management.
- Hands-on experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS).
- Certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT compliance standards (HIPAA, ISO 27001) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
