Responsibility
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, and POS systems across multiple retail locations.
- Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Provide timely technical support to staff, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for internal systems and applications.
- Conduct regular system backups and implement disaster recovery protocols to safeguard critical data.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to procure, deploy, and maintain IT equipment and infrastructure.
- Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and training.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (2+ years) in IT support, system administration, or a similar role, preferably in retail or F&B.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS, networking (LAN/WAN), and POS systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) and basic cybersecurity practices.
