Responsibility
- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software reliability.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to identify and resolve defects early in the SDLC.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
- Monitor and report on test metrics, including defect density, test coverage, and release readiness.
- Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects and propose preventive measures.
- Stay updated with emerging QA trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve testing processes.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on web and mobile applications.
- Proficient in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JIRA, Postman).
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile, TDD, BDD) and defect tracking systems.
- Experience with API testing and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- ISTQB or similar QA certification is a plus.
