Responsibility
- Provide timely and effective first-level IT support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and upgrading of business applications and ICT infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct regular system backups and ensure data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with IT teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and solutions for future reference and training purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
