Responsibility
- Oversee the day-to-day maintenance, monitoring, and administration of critical IT infrastructure components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues to minimize downtime and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Manage system upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning for enterprise servers and network equipment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement infrastructure changes and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, maintenance procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Conduct regular system audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with government IT standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members on infrastructure best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure management or systems administration.
- Strong proficiency in managing Windows/Linux server environments and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Hands-on experience with networking concepts, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and storage solutions.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for task automation.
- Prior experience in government-related or large-scale public sector projects is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively in a team-based environment.
