Responsibility
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Manage and maintain endpoint security tools, including antivirus, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports on findings and remediation steps.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into system development and deployment.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security, cybersecurity, or a related role.
- Proficiency in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, encryption technologies, and security frameworks.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey security risks and solutions to stakeholders.
