Responsibility
- Lead and manage IT projects for banking clients, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards.
- Oversee System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, including test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and vendors, to align project goals and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project governance frameworks, including risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder reporting.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring optimal allocation and cost efficiency.
- Act as a Test Lead, coordinating test activities, defining test strategies, and ensuring high-quality software releases.
- Foster strong vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and service-level agreement (SLA) compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and team productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 2 years in banking or financial services.
- Proven experience in test management, including SIT, UAT, and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana).
- Experience in vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ISTQB, or CSM are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with banking systems, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards (e.g., Basel III, PCI-DSS) is a strong advantage.
